La iniciativa ja compta amb finan\u00e7ament gr\u00e0cies a dues subvencions, una de l\u2019Ag\u00e8ncia Catalana de l\u2019Aigua i una altre de la Generalitat. L\u2019objectiu \u00e9s poder desenvolupar el projecte l\u2019any vinent.<\/p>\n<p>El projecte preveu treure el tr\u00e0nsit rodat del carrer i transformar l\u2019espai entre el paviment i el riu per crear un nou espai verd. L\u2019objectiu \u00e9s convertir-lo en una grada natural que tingui usos de zona verda per apropar la ciutadania al riu. En concret es vol soterrar els serveis de llum i telefonia, augmentar la superf\u00edcie verda i trencant les barreres existents. Es vol reduir al m\u00ednim els elements de formig\u00f3, substituint-los per elements naturals que tinguin la mateixa funci\u00f3 de contenci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Actualment aquest espai est\u00e8ril nom\u00e9s s\u2019utilitza parcialment com a grades quan hi ha algun espectacle o esdeveniment a les roques del pont vell, com l\u2019arribada dels reis d\u2019orient amb barca o quan es feia la representaci\u00f3 de l\u2019onze de setembre. L\u2019ajuntament, a trav\u00e9s d\u2019un comunicat de premsa, afirma que ja disposa del finan\u00e7ament a trav\u00e9s de subvencions. L\u2019Ag\u00e8ncia Catalana de l\u2019Aigua n\u2019ha concedit una de 120.000 euros, mentre la Generalitat hauria aportat 300.000 euros a la iniciativa. Gr\u00e0cies a aquests ajuts, el projecte es podr\u00e0 desenvolupar l\u2019any vinent. Ara mateix s\u2019est\u00e0 en la fase de redacci\u00f3 del projecte.
