Al concurs, que est\u00e0 impulsat per l\u2019Ajuntament de Manresa, a trav\u00e9s del Museu de Manresa, i la fam\u00edlia Muncunill i Roca, hi van participar una quinzena d\u2019artistes de Catalunya, Pa\u00eds Valenci\u00e0 i Pa\u00eds Basc.<br \/>\nEl guanyador del premi no va ser present a l\u2019acte, per\u00f2 s\u00ed el guanyador de l\u2019acc\u00e8ssit, Albert Gim\u00e9nez Torrent de Caldes de Malavella, amb la seva obra \u201cSilencios\u201d (quadre marr\u00f3), que s\u2019havia presentat al concurs altres vegades, tot i que aquesta ser\u00e0 la darrera, ja qu\u00e8 t\u00e9 30 anys i ja no es podr\u00e0 presentar m\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>El Premi Climent Muncunill Roca per a joves artistes es va crear el 2002 per mantenir el record de Climent Muncunill Roca i des de 2009 va passar a ser bianual.<\/p>\n<p>Aquest concurs est\u00e0 obert a qualsevol creaci\u00f3 art\u00edstica de format bidimensional i nom\u00e9s exclou les obres que necessitin un aparell reproductor per ser vistes. Es d\u00f3na un primer premi i un acc\u00e8ssit dotats amb 2.400 euros; i 1.200 euros, respectivament.
